Special Meetings

The GDPC hosts other special education events throughout the year, sometimes in conjunction with the City of Dallas, or special presentations at Universities, even partnering with other like minded organizations such as the North Central Texas Section of the American Planning Association, Congress for New Urbanism, North Texas, ULI North Texas, AIA and many others.

2011 Special Presentations:
In April, GDPC partnered with UTA's Student chapter of America Society of Landscape Architecture (SASLA) and hosted the West Dallas Urban Structure and Guidelines presentation by Brent Brown, Director of CityDesign Studio (City of Dallas) to about 55 students, teachers and guests. In addition, member professionals: Mike Eastland, Mark Goode, William Dahlstrom and Bob Prejean provided a panel discussion and GDPC gave away a trio of architecture books as door prizes.
