 The Greater Dallas Planning Council is the only Dallas area civic organization that focuses on issues shaping regional growth and that addresses these issues from a broad range of community and professional perspectives. Its membership includes elected and appointed officials, design professionals, community/civic leaders and other involved individuals and organizations.
The Greater Dallas Planning Council's monthly breakfast sessions are a forum where members receive timely briefings on important regional topics. Its Board of Directors adopts policy positions on key issues and communicates its findings to decision makers, the media and the general public. Its Issue Task Forces give members a role in debating and advocating action on critical current issues.
