The Greater Dallas Planning Council is a membership driven organization but needs annual support to produce programming and staffing. While corporate memberships are available, some organizations donate as sponsors without receiving any membership benefits since GDPC operates as a 501 (c) 3 and they choose tax relief for their donation. We also encourage companies to sponsor our monthly breakfast events and the Lunch & Learn Seminar Series.

The Greater Dallas Planning Council recognizes excellence in local urban planning and design annually in four categories: Dream Study Award, Built Project Award, Kessler Award and the Dunnigan Media Award. Each nomination is evaluated by an awards committee (made up of members and non-member professionals in their respective fields) and a lavish evening cocktail reception is produced for the public and members to congratulate the talented winning individuals and corporations.
